Home visits are £65 for the first hour, then £30 per additional 30 minutes. If something looks bigger, I’ll pause and explain the options before we continue.

Home visit (first hour)

£65

Includes travel + first hour. Most visits wrap between £65–£95.

Extra time

£30 / 30 mins

Charged in half-hour blocks, only if you approve keeping going.

Remote support

£45 / 45 mins

Then £15 per extra 15 mins. Handy for follow-ups and quick fixes.

Half-day & day blocks

£165 / £300

Half-day (up to 3h) £165. Day block (up to 6h) £300 for smart homes, office setups or multi-task visits.

Key details

  • No surprises: If a job looks like it’ll take longer than expected, I’ll explain the options before we continue.
  • Parts & Software: You pay for these directly (or reimburse me). I’ll always agree the cost with you before ordering.
  • Payment: Bank transfer, cash, or contactless card/phone.

Collect / Repair / Return Service

For jobs that take hours (like reinstalling Windows, data recovery, or virus scans), it’s often cheaper and easier for me to take the device away and bring it back fixed.

  • What I collect: Laptops, desktop PCs, gaming PCs.
  • What I don’t fix: Liquid damage, board-level soldering (micro-soldering), or cracked phone/tablet screens.
  • Timeframes: Typically 24–48 hours for diagnosis and software fixes. If parts are needed, it depends on delivery times.
  • Parts: You pay for parts directly (or reimburse me). I’ll always agree the cost with you before ordering.
  • If it’s not worth fixing: I’ll tell you honestly. You just pay for the diagnosis/time spent (usually the first hour fee), and I can help you choose a replacement and move your data.
