Legacy File Session
£49
One relaxed visit, usually around an hour. We complete your Legacy File together, make sure the passphrase arrangement makes sense, save the right copies and test that everything works.
What you’ll get
- Your Legacy File completed together in one visit — no homework first
- A strong passphrase chosen, and a proper plan for where it lives (sealed envelope, executor)
- An optional printed paper copy for secure storage, such as with your will
- Copies of the encrypted file saved safely (USB stick, computer, family member)
- We test it together so you know your family could really open it
- Plain-English guidance on what to record — and what never to write down
Ideal if...
- You know your family would be left guessing if something happened to you
- You started the free Legacy File tool but want a hand finishing it
- You’d rather do this with a friendly person than a form
- You want to get it properly sorted in around an hour, then off your mind
Not ideal if...
- You need a legal Will written (this is the practical side only — we can point you to local solicitors)
- You want passwords reorganised, lost accounts recovered, or a password manager set up — that’s the Digital Legacy Plan
- You want passwords stored for you (the Legacy File deliberately never contains passwords or PINs)
What I need from you
- An hour of your time and a cup of tea
- A rough idea of your main accounts, policies and where important paperwork lives
- One trusted person who could hold the passphrase (we’ll sort the details together)

Getting started
To make sure this is the right fit, I'll ask a few quick questions:
- Have you already tried the free Legacy File tool?
- Who might be the trusted person (first name only) to hold the passphrase?
You can provide these details when you enquire here.
