Wi-Fi Tech Rescue
£ 79 — fixed fee, in-home visit
Fix dead spots, buffering and dropouts — and make your Wi-Fi reliable again.
When this is the right help
This service is for you if:
- Wi-Fi drops out or buffers regularly
- Some rooms work fine, others don’t
- Video calls freeze or cut out
- Smart TVs or devices keep disconnecting
- You’ve already tried turning it off and on — more than once
What I’ll help you fix
During the visit, I’ll look at:
-
✓
Router placement and signal reach
-
✓
Interference from walls, layouts, or nearby networks
-
✓
Device connection issues
-
✓
Basic router settings that often cause instability
-
✓
If you already have mesh Wi-Fi or boosters, I’ll make sure they’re set up properly.
The aim is reliability, not just speed tests.
What this won’t cover
To keep expectations clear, this service does not include:
-
×
Changes to your broadband provider’s external line
-
×
Major rewiring or building work
-
×
Supplying new hardware (options explained if needed)
If hardware upgrades would genuinely help, I’ll explain why — with no pressure to buy anything through me.
What to have ready (if you can)
If available, it helps to have:
- Your Wi-Fi name and password
- A list of devices that struggle (phones, TVs, laptops)
- Access to where the router is located
If you don’t have these to hand, that’s fine — we’ll work around it.
How it works
I come to you.
Typical session time.
Questions welcome any time.
The goal is that things work properly after I leave — not just during the visit.
Next steps
