Tech Legacy
Protect your digital life — calmly, privately and with expert guidance.
Most of us have a Will for our house and savings.
Almost nobody has a plan for their digital life.
Your phone, photos, passwords, documents, online accounts and subscriptions all continue to exist after you die — and without preparation, your family may not be able to access any of it. As a result, treasured memories can be lost, essential information becomes impossible to reach, and subscriptions continue charging needlessly.
Tech Legacy is a dedicated, in-home service designed to stop that from happening.
Why this matters
In real cases, families often struggle with:
- Phones they cannot unlock
- Photo libraries they cannot access
- Online banking and emails locked behind 2FA
- Insurance and ID details no one can find
- Subscriptions that keep charging
- Executors unable to locate key information
These problems create stress at the worst possible time — but they are all preventable.
Built from legal and technical experience
Before founding Marple Tech Help, I qualified as a solicitor and spent part of my training contract in a wills & probate department. I’ve seen first-hand how often families face avoidable difficulties because digital accounts weren’t planned for.
Tech Legacy combines that real-world legal insight with practical, patient tech support — giving you a simple, secure plan that actually works when it matters.
What we’ll do together
Your Digital Legacy Setup Session lasts around an hour and includes:
1. Setting up Legacy Contacts (Apple, Google, Facebook)
We make sure the right people can access your photos and essential data if something happens.
2. Solving the Two-Factor Authentication problem
We address the issue no password list can fix: the security codes sent to your phone.
You stay in full control — I don’t need to see your PIN or passwords.
3. Creating your Digital Information Sheet
A clear, private document for your executor, including:
- Where your photo library is stored
- Which accounts you use
- How to access essential information
- A list of recurring subscriptions
This stays with you and is kept alongside your Will (but not inside it).
4. Reviewing your subscriptions
We identify anything that would continue charging unnecessarily.
5. Photo backup (optional)
If you’d like, I can create a secure backup of your photo library onto a USB stick or external drive.
(You keep the drive — no data is stored by me.)
What you’ll leave with
- A working legacy plan for your digital accounts
- Confidence that your photos and important information won’t be lost
- A simple system your family can use if needed
- A sense of calm knowing everything is organised and secure
Most clients say they feel noticeably lighter at the end of the session.
