Tech support for sole traders and microbusinesses.
If you’re a one-person business (or a very small team) and you just need things to work — email, laptops, Wi-Fi, file storage, backups — I can help on an ad-hoc basis with clear pricing.
What I can help with
- One or two-person businesses who just need things to work
- Home offices and small premises
- Reliable email, shared calendars and simple file storage
- Quick Wi-Fi, printer, backup or workspace fixes
- Simple websites and managed hosting
What it usually costs / how long it takes
Most visits: 60–120 mins
Typical cost: £65–£95 (most jobs finish within the first 1–1.5 hours)
If it’s likely to take longer, I’ll tell you before we keep going.
Where I draw the line: If you need managed IT (monitoring, servers, SLAs, lots of users), you’ll be better served by an MSP — and I’m happy to point you to a good local one.
How the visit works
- Understand how you actually work (devices, apps, client data).
- Stabilise the essentials first: Wi-Fi, backups, key software.
- Write down the processes so you’re not reliant on me.
- Plan sensible next steps if it needs a phase two.
