I’m Martyn — the person behind Marple Tech Help.

I live and work right here in central Marple (just a minute’s walk from Asda and Market Street), so I’m never far away if you need help.

I’ve been doing hands-on tech support since the dot-com days (I was on a support desk in 1999/2000, before my A-Levels). Since then I also trained and worked as a solicitor, and later as a teacher.

That mix matters. It means you get someone who’s calm under pressure, good at explaining things clearly, and careful with your data and your time. I won’t talk down to you, I won’t blind you with jargon, and I won’t disappear after the “fix”.
