CadenceMark

Syllable stress → visual identity.

The Concept

A creative coding project that converts the rhythm of spoken words into visual waveforms.

The tool analyses English syllable stress—distinguishing between primary, secondary, and unstressed sounds—and generates unique visual “fingerprints” that can be exported directly as resolution-independent SVG graphics.

Why we built it

CadenceMark bridges the gap between linguistics and design. It was built to explore generative art and programmatic SVG manipulation, pushing the boundaries of what a utility tool can create directly within the browser.

Applications

  • Generative logos
  • Sound-based visualisation
  • Experimental typography

Key Features

  • Algorithmic syllable parsing
  • Client-side SVG rendering & export
  • Styling presets & batch generation
